Alan St. Mary's Girls Tipp Enterprise Award 2015
I was delighted to attend the inaugural all county Tipperary Student Enterprise Awards in LIT Thurles today. I was very impressed with the all the hard work and dedication shown by all the teams at the envent. The event is a brilliant platform to give students an idea of how a business operates and the exceptionally high standard of projects is a testaments to several months of hard work by all involved, students, their teachers and their families.
I am pictured with the winning team Mary's Masterchefs from St. Mary's Secondary School, Nenagh at the Tipperary Student Enterprise Awards - Aisling Sheedy, Sorcha Nagle , Jade Corcoran, Roisin Taplin and Niamh Dolan.
The team published a cooking book with recipes from people around the town to raise funds for the Irish Heart Foundation. They got people in the area including to myself to give them a receipe including a recipe from myself. Photographer: Selina O'Meara
